Instalar exemplo de contreúdo (Sample data)

Ao instalar o Joomla 1.5, passo por todas as etapas tranquilo - estou instalando localhost com o EasyPHP - mas ao chegar em instalar os exemplos de conteúdo, ou Install Sample Data ele mostra uma mensagem do tipo:

Error: the XML response that was returned from the server cannot be processed.

Não estou conseguindo instalar os exemplos de conteúdo. O que pode ser isto?

Eu também não consegui. Fiquei tristinha porque pensava em brincar um pouquinho.

Acredite o problema não é no Joomla! e sim no EasyPhp que nunca foi bom...

Eu instalei o Apache1+Php5+Mysql5 e funcina certinho...

se for usar assim, usa o Xamp q é menos ruim q o Easy...

Karlos acho que não é problema no mysql, é um problema de permissões de pasta/arquivos...

ta a solução:

"I encountered the same problem 2 days ago and managed to solved it yesterday (20080220). Followings are the software which I'm using:

Ubuntu 6.10 (Linux ubuntu-610 2.6.17-10-server)
Apache2 (2.0.55-4ubuntu4)
MySQL Server (5.0.24a-9)
PHP5 (5.1.6-1ubuntu2.7)

What you should do is simply ignore the warning regarding configuration.php during the web based installation. Do not do this: mv configuration.php-dist configuration.php

After the installation is completed, you just copy the contents of configuration.php which is displayed on the last page of the installation process and then create/paste into configuration.php. It's not necessary to chmod configuration.php"
